LONGEST BHARATANATYAM PRESENTATION OF ANDAL THIRUPAVAI NATYA VAIBHAVAM DEPICTING LITERATURE, PHILOSOPHY AND DEVOTION BY MAXIMUM CLASSICAL DANCERS

SRI NATARAJAR NATIYALAYA, Uthiramerur, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu, India, organized a massive world record event titled “ANDAL THIRUPAVAI NATYA VAIBHAVAM.” A staggering number of classical dance artists, all adorned in traditional Andal attire and makeup, performed the complete Thirupavai, beautifully depicting its inherent literature, philosophy, and devotion. Andal’s Thirupavai consists of 30 Pasurams (verses) that encapsulate the essence of spiritual surrender. Notably, this event marked the FIRST WORLD RECORD ACHIEVEMENT where all 30 Pasurams were performed simultaneously by artists in Andal makeup. This spectacular event stood as a testament to teamwork, discipline, and artistic excellence.
