LARGEST FINGERPRINT PORTRAIT OF DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR: A SYMBOL OF UNITY


SALEM GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING – THE ARTS CLUB, with the active participation of over five hundred students, successfully created a grand portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar measuring 48.5 feet in length and 68 feet in breadth. The monumental artwork was completed in 6 hours and 45 minutes, using a total of 8,21,547 (eight lakh twenty-one thousand five hundred forty-seven) individual fingerprints.

​This extraordinary feat of collective creativity and organization celebrates the enduring legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, where each fingerprint symbolizes a voice, a dream, and a shared commitment to the values of justice, equality, and social harmony.
